Buttercups - Did you know that if you put one under your chin and your chin turns yellow then you like butter? My sister and I were told this when we were young and we REALLY REALLY believed it, making buttercups one of the most exciting childhood flowers!

I love my charity shop raids, they brighten up my day. This vintage handicraft magazine is full of great over-saturated photos of brightly coloured crocheted table pieces and cost me only 30p…what a bargain. Inspired by my new acquisition I have found a very talented Etsy seller called Bronwyn who creates crochet covered river rocks, beach stones, acorns and beach glass among other things. Check out her beautiful creations at Stitch Happens.
